ASUS just announced the ASUS ZenBook Flip S – which boasts of being the world’s thinnest convertible laptop. The device was launched at an ASUS event in Taiwan, and is really impressive. ASUS ZenBook Flip S
The latest 2-in-1 convertible laptop from ASUS comes out into the markets with a 13.3 inch display. The laptop is only 10.9mm thin, making it the thinnest convertible laptop in the world. It weighs 1.1 kg. The ASUS ZenBook Flip S comes out with thin bezels that ASUS calls ‘Nano-edge’. It runs on the Windows 10 S OS.
ASUS said that in order to attain this level of thin-ness, they had to come out with a ‘liquid polymer fan’ of their own making. It is just 0.3mm thin and helps keep the device cool. The device comes with a fingerprint sensor for secure logins using Windows Hello. Talking of the processor, it runs on the i7 from Intel. The ASUS ZenBook Flip S features a 1TB SSD.
The 13.3 inch display that the ZenBook Flip S comes with supports resolutions of up to 4K. It also supports stylus input wit a pen. We’re not sure if the pen would be bundled along with the device. It supports 1,024 levels of force. To sum it up it is a very impressive 2-in-1 convertible laptop.
