Ever since the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 disaster, Samsung has been extra careful and has been providing the users with the latest of updates to keep them happy. The company rolled out timely Android Nougat OS updates for a number of their smartphones. The latest phone to be getting the update is the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Samsung’s 2015 flagship.
Samsung has been rolling out the Android Nougat OS update to unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 5 devices for quite a while. Carrier-locked users too, are getting the update now, and T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 5 users have just become the latest users to be getting this much awaited update.
The update that is rolling out for the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 5 users is that of the Android 7.0 Nougat OS which has rolled out for other Samsung smartphones recently. Over the past couple of months, the Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, S6, S6 Edge have all received the latest Android Nougat OS update.
This update brings forward a number of new features for the users. This update will bring forward better battery management, easier multitasking, and new S Pen capabilities. These features are all set to breathe life back into the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 5 smartphones. This update has already been out for the Note 5 users on Verizon, AT&T and Sprint. T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 5 users are among the last mainstream users to be getting this OS update.
Samsung has been rather quick with the updates this year. With the Android Nougat OS update rolling out for so many devices over the past couple of weeks, expect Android OS distribution share percentage to jump up next month.
