ASUS launched the ZenBook Pro UX550 at an event in Taiwan. The company also launched the ASUS ZenBook Flip S at the same event. The company is known as one of the biggest players in the markets of technology when it comes to South East Asia. The latest ZenBook Pro laptop from ASUS comes out with a 15.6 inched touchscreen display. The highlight of the device being it can support resolutions of up to 4K. The laptop is only 18.9mm thick and weighs in at just 1.8KG, making it one of the sleekest and lightest of modern day laptops. The laptop comes with an all-aluminum unibody. It comes with a fingerprint sensor which supports secure logins via Windows Hello. ASUS’s iconic Zen-inspired spun-metal finish with diamond-cut silver edges, and illuminated lid log adorn this laptop.
The ASUS ZenBook Pro UX550 comes out into the markets with a seventh-generation quad-core Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor along with an Nvidia GeForce GTX1050 Ti GPU. It also sports an incredible 1TB PCIe x4 SSD and 16GB DDR4 RAM. A look at these specifications and you know it is a powerhouse of a device! In order to keep this beast of a device cool, a dual-fan system has been introduced.
ASUS claims that the laptop comes with a battery life that can last for up to 14 hours. The laptop also packs in a quad-speaker powered by Harman Kardon. The ZenBook Pro UX550 is launching with either Windows 10 Pro or Windows 10 Home in July this year, starting at $1,299.
