Upcoming BlackBerry Krypton Smartphone Spotted with Carbon Fiber Body

While BlackBerry might have bowed out of the hardware markets, the brand still lives on through licenses. TCL has been coming out with BlackBerry branded smartphones and the latest in line is that of the BlackBerry Krypton. This upcoming BlackBerry smartphone has now leaked in live images spotted over BBM Channels. Don’t count BlackBerry out!

The upcoming BlackBerry Krypton smartphone has been spotted with a carbon fiber body – which gives it a strong, durable body, as well as a very unique look. BlackBerry smartphones, which were known for their security and their privacy are now going to be known for their durability too. The phones were a favorite of Businessmen and Governments till a few years ago but of late the brand has been falling out favors.

With the BlackBerry Krypton and its Carbon Fiber body, BlackBerry is offering a different look and feel to a phone in an era where almost all major phones come out with a glass back. There are a number of users who buy a smartphone with a glass body and use a Carbon Fiber case to protect it. BlackBerry Krypton is made of the very material!

From these leaked images we can see the back of the BlackBerry Krypton. The back of the phone comes with a Karbon Fiber body and a large camera on the top. The phone features a dual LED flash as well. However, there’s not fingerprint scanner on the back side, indicating a home button-cum-fingerprint scanner in the front. The phone is expected to feature an all-screen display and no physical keyboard this time.

The phone is expected to come out into the markets powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor. It will feature 4GB of RAM and will run on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The battery is expected to be massive as well as speculations indicate that the BlackBerry Krypton would run on 4000mAh of battery life. The phone is expected to be announced next month.
