Bose QuietComfort 35 II Spotted with Google Assistant

For almost a month now, rumors were picking steam that Google is working on headphones that would feature a built-in support for Google Assistant. However, so far there were only rumors and speculations. Today we have a more concrete evidence – the headphones have leaked! Bose QuietComfort 35 II headphones, known internally as Baywolf, have now been spotted at a Best Buy store.

Best Buy in the past too, has been known to have released a number of products in advance. However this time it looks like the headphones were accidentally kept on the shelves while they were supposed to be a secret. Neither Google nor Bose has made the device official yet and it is likely that Google will formally introduce us to the Bose QuietComfort 35 II at the Google Event on 4th October.

The headphones which have been spotted here are are black in color while another silver/white variant too, is expected to release along with it. The Bose QuietComfort 35 II cost $349.99 – which might seem like a lot when it comes to a pair of headphones but is the standard price for Bose headphones. Add Google Assistant to it and the cost is totally justified.

These headphones are the ones Google is internally calling ‘Baywolf’. They belong to the Google Bisto line of headphones which is the generic codename Google is using for Google Assistant enabled headphones.

Expect Google to make a formal announcement at the event on 4th of October where they will also release the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones. A smaller Google Home and a new Chromebook Pixel laptop are also expected at this event. The Bose QuietComfort 35 II will also be a highlight.

While these Bose QuietComfort 35 II headphones were spotted at the Best Buy store, users were not allowed to buy them. It looks like the retail sales will begin only after Google formally announces them at the event.
