Fingerprint Gestures, Night Light NOT Coming to Nexus Phones

Google is among some of the biggest names when it comes to the world of smartphone technology. The company has been around for a really long time, and has been coming out with innovative solutions to various marketing problems. The company has brought forward a large number of changes, and has been a true innovator when it comes to the markets. The company has recently introduced the Google Pixel smartphones, which come with a number of exclusive features. For those Nexus users who were awaiting the updates for their phones, we have some bad news:

The Google Pixel devices com with exclusive features which set them a class apart from the rest of the Android smartphones. The Nexus devices held this distinction in the past, but Google has brought a major change in the way their system functions, and are now looking forward to do something different this time.

Features such as the fingerprint gestures, which allow the users to check their notifications without even touching the screen are a Pixel exclusive! Even after the Android 7.1 Nougat OS update reaches the Nexus phones, this feature would not be a part of the devices. In addition to that, another feature that won’t be making it to the Nexus devices is the Night Light mode.

Android 7.1 Nougat OS’s Night Light mode reduces the blue light from the screens, and helps the display become clearer than ever before. Ian Blake, a Google team member, confirmed in a Google+ post that the Nexus 5X and 6P will not get the Night Light and fingerprint sensor gestures from the Pixel phones. It is features like these which help the Pixel smartphones get an air of exclusivity around them, and attract a number of users towards using the devices. The Pixel is indeed a good effort from Google towards creating the ultimate Android experience.
