Google Pixel 2 Launch Event Page Goes Live

Having been spotted in several leaks over the past few months, the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 are Google’s 2017 flagship releases.  The phones were awaited for a long while and there was quite a confusion over the release date of the phones. Google has finally put the rumors to rest as they have confirmed that the phones will launch on the 4th of October.

The Google Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 are all set to come out as the gen-next versions of last years’ Pixel and Pixel XL devices. Google has been putting up billboards hinting at the launch event. Moreover, Google has also sent out press invites along with a video which highlights various things that people don’t like in their smartphones which Pixel 2 will be a solution to.

Google has also been putting out billboards promoting this event. As per the mails they have sent out to the press, this Google hardware event will take place on the 4th of October at 9 AM PT. The event will take place in San Francisco.

Moreover, the website too has gone live. This Google website starts off with a red question mark which soon coverts into Google’s classic G Logo. The website then asks you a simple question – ‘Thinking about changing phones?’. In a few seconds the frame changes to ‘Stay tuned for more on October 4.’ Google then gives you an option to subscribe for e-mail updates. You can enter your e-mail address there and you will be notified once there is an update from Google regarding these phones.

In addition to these two phones, Google is also expected to launch a smaller Amazon Echo Dot-like device  which would be a smaller Google Home. The company is also expected to launch new headphones which will come with a built-in support for the Google Assistant. A new Chromebook Pixel too, is expected. Stay tuned with us for more details.
