Soon after the hours of releasing the beta version of iOS 11.2, Apple rolled out the latest update for everyone. The new version comes as a savior to the recent 11.1.2 update that caused the phones to malfunction.

Major feature of this update is the much awaited person-to-person payment app, Apple Pay Cash. The application is currently only available in the US, which according to the reports is not live yet.

A bug in the earlier version causing iPhones to crash repeatedly once the clock hits 12:15 am on December 2nd. People turned to turning off app notifications or setting any previous date. The bug was reported soon by the officials and the new update was soon released after realizing the issue.

The new update is available on the iPhones 5s and later, iPads Air or mini 2 and later and the sixth generation iPod touch. In the new iPhone 8, 8 Plus or X, it also adds support for faster 7.5W wireless charging when used with a compatible Wireless Qi pad, which also updates the control center to let users know what is actually happening when users try to turn Bluetooth or WiFi on and off. Other major thing is new emoji for everyone, and as per  MacRumors there’s a sports section in the TV app now that curates live games streaming via the ESPN app.

The update includes addition of new wallpapers in iPhone 8, 8 plus and X. iPhone X users will also enjoy new live wallpapers. It also addresses other high-profile bugs, including a fix that prevented fast number entry into the Calculator app, strange auto correct suggestions, and other tweaks.

Apple officially recommends to install this update to fix the bug, enjoy new features and Apple Pay Cash.
