With the Note 7, things were expected to get a lot better.

We all know how that ended up for Samsung. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones started catching fire and exploding, resulting in Samsung starting a global recall and replacement. However, even the replaced devices started exploding, leading to Samsung cancelling the device completely. This has led to major losses for Samsung, and the company has now learnt their lesson. It has also been noted that there have been speculations that after the Note 7 disaster, Samsung might come out with just 1 flagship phone moving forward. This information comes courtesy reports by reputed South Korean publications Sammobile and Korea Herald, both citing the news outlet Newsis.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to release with a dual camera on the back, and will release only in the edged variant. The smartphone is being anticipated to come out with an incredible camera, as well as the latest of Samsung technologies. Samsung would ensure the device is safe to use. The Note 7 incident has caused a major blow to Samsung’s reputation, and the company is now looking forward towards a better, brighter future.  2016 has indeed been quite a learning curve for Samsung.
