OnePlus 5 To Launch on 21st June, Goes on Sale on 22nd June; India Launch on 22nd June in Mumbai

OnePlus 5 has perhaps been the most awaited smartphone of this year. There have been a number of speculations and expectations about this device over the years. The phone has now officially been declared to be launched on the 21st of June. Press invites for the launch date of the phone have gone out in various nations. The first nation where the phone would be launched officially is the home country of Beijing where the phone would come out in about two weeks from now.

The phone has been spotted on many leaked images, press renders, and benchmark listings in the past. However today the invites have been rolling out. In addition to the international launch date, the OnePlus 5 India launch date has also been announced. The phone will launch in India one day after its international launch in Beijing. In India, the launch event will take place in Mumbai.

The OnePlus 5 is currently being expected to go on sale in just one day from its launch. The phone’s international launch takes place on the 21st of June and it will go on sale in China on the 22nd of June. As of now there’s no word on when the device would go on sale in India or what its price would be. However, leaked details have indicated that the OnePlus 5 would be priced in at CNY 2799 in China (USD 415/INR 26700).

Much about the phone is already known, thanks to the leaks and rumors. However, it all needs an official validation, which comes out way in just two weeks from now. As of now the official information that has been confirmed by OnePlus has been that the phone will feature a Snapdragon 835 processor, along with a 1080p display.
