Adfactors PR has been given a one year contract by Samsung India for managing their public affairs in India. In the past, Samsung as working with Weber Shandwick in India for their PR. However, drastic changes were indeed expected, and this change is one of them. Over the past few weeks, Adfactors PR and Edelman India were competing for the position, and Adfactors has won the account.
Samsung Mobiles is one of the biggest brands when it comes to the Indian smartphone markets, and the company has always had a high goodwill in India. While the Note 7 disaster has not hit India in such an adverse manner as it has overseas, Samsung does indeed need to pull up their socks before the first wave hits.
