MacOS Sierra has been one of the most significant updates. With the latest update, you get to do a lot of things on your Mac. You can watch videos from Apple website while you are working, you have SIRI, and the Apple Pay integration too. Although the App Store has a lot of apps, but a lot of Mac users can’t live without Third party apps.

One of the major problem faced by MacOS users who are currently on MacOS Sierra is, they weren’t able to install third party apps into their system. They were forcefully asked to move the apps to the trash. I was trying to install a third party app called Unibeast which allows me to create bootable drives on my Mac. When I went to the System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General. I didn’t find the ‘Install from Anywhere option’ on my MacBook Pro.

Since I always keep messing up with my Mac, I always prefer using Unibeast which would enable to me to fresh install the OS without having to download it back. Apple recently released the MacOS Sierra and so I wanted to make a bootable USB Drive of the MacOS Sierra so that I in case I mess up, I’ll be able to fresh install the OS on my MacBook Pro without downloading MacOS Sierra again!

However, while installing the software it directly prompted me to move the app to the trash, which means, The MacOS stopped me from downloading a third-party app. To reassure, I redownloaded the file and found that the file was completely fine. But getting rid of that issue was important, so I went across forums and found out that one command in the terminal will enable you to install apps from third-party developers. In case you are on MacOS Sierra then you can copy the below code and use it to allow all app developers to showcase their apps on the Platform!

Terminal Command:

sudo spctl --master-disable

Once you enter the terminal command go to System Preferences > Security and Privacy > General and you’ll get back the option which allowed you to enable download and install apps from anywhere.

That’s it you can now go and install any third party app you are interested in, That’s all, for now, stay tuned to Newsient for Hot news! You shall follow our social media handles if you are looking forward job!
