Samsung has been coming out with two flagship phones every year. The first half of the year witnesses the release of the Galaxy S series of smartphones and the second half of the year features the release of the Note devices. Samsung is going to launch Samsung Galaxy Note 8 on the 23rd of August. However before the launch of the phone there have been a number of leaks - the latest set of leaks now show us the complete list of specifications of this device, as well as a new teaser image.

Final Specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8

Final specifications of the Note 8 smartphone have now emerged. These features were reported by Venture Beat. Reportedly, the Note 8 is all set to come out into the markets with a 6.3 inched display. The display of this device is 0.1 inches larger than the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, which comes out at 6.2 inches. This makes the Note 8 the largest Samsung flagship ever.

The phone is expected to feature a SuperAMOLED display which would feature an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. It is identical to the one seen on the S8 and S8 Plus smartphones, complete with infinity display. The one difference between the Note 8 and the S8/S8+ is the fact that the edges are a little squared compared to the rounded edges of the S8. It features thin bezels on the top and bottom for sensors and the front camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be powered by the Exynos 8895 processor in the global variant, and for the users based in the US, the phone would feature Snapdragon 835 processor from Qualcomm. The phone is powered by 6GB of RAM along with 64GB of storage space which can further be expanded with the help of a Micro SD card. Reportedly another more powerful ‘special edition’ variant too might launch in the future.

One of the highlights of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is the fact that this is the first Samsung smartphone to feature dual cameras on the back. The phone features one regular 12MP camera and another telephoto lens which helps get a better zoom. Samsung is expected to feature a super night mode and super zoom feature with this device. The phone will be powered by a 3300 mAh battery and would run on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS, upgradable to Android O.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Teaser Image

In addition to the specifications leaking out, a new teaser image too, has been spotted by well known tipster Evan Blass. Evan posted the image above on his twitter account @EVleaks. The new teaser image shows the phone with a massive display along with the S-Pen Stylus.

The leaked image also confirms a small bit about the branding of the phone - the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be stylized as the Note8 as Samsung has done in the past with other Note series devices too. Stay tuned with us for more details on the Note 8 as it launches on the 23rd of August.
