When Microsoft released the gen-next series of Lumia devices running on the Windows 10 Mobile OS, they had high hopes from them. The Lumia 950, Lumia 950 XL and Lumia 650 were the three major devices that the company released. In addition to these smartphones they also came out with a low-cost Lumia 550 device. Microsoft had high hopes from these devices. Each of these smartphones had a particular role to play. However, things were not looking as good for Microsoft as they expected it to.
