Among some of the biggest names in the markets of technology, Apple has been a major force in bringing forward various changes in the way we know the markets to be. The company has brought forward major changes and innovations in the design element of gadgets as we know them to be. With the iPhone, the iPad and the iPod, Apple changed the very way markets look at the devices at large to be. The company is working on innovating a number of other aspects of smartphones with their upcoming iPhone 7. However those awaiting the release of this device might be sad to hear that the production might be delayed a little.

Apple is usually known for delivering the products right on time. However, over the years, there have been production related issues which might slow them down. Earlier this year Taiwan was hit by a major earthquake, which resulted in a slowdown of production.  The problem continues to persist, as market experts have said that Apple might face a lack of supply this time around.

“We estimate total iPhone 7 builds to be 74 (million) in 2H16F, compared to 84 (million) for iPhone 6s in 2H15. Together with pricing pressure, we expect most Apple food chain suppliers to see (year-on-year) revenue decline for the rest of the year,” Yuanta Investment Consulting analyst Jeff Pu wrote in a note dated Aug. 23.

While this might not particularly hurt the launch date of the device, this is bound to impact the quantity of the devices produced. Apple, which is already going through rocky times in the markets seems to be hit by obstacles time and again. The company has high hopes from their upcoming iPhone 7 smartphone. Fingers are crossed for a timely release and a smooth supply. Apple has an uphill battle ahead of them.
