Google Pixel 2 Price in India Revealed; Flipkart Exclusive

Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL were among some of the most awaited devices of all times. The phones were announced today after a long wait. There have been a number of leaks and rumors around this phone. However as the phones came out today, all the rumors were put to rest and the specifications were confirmed. Google Pixel 2 price was also confirmed by the company at the event.

The Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will come out into the markets with 4GB of RAM along with 64GB and 128GB storage variants. The phones would run on the Snapdragon 835 processor and would feature 12.2 MP camera on the back. The Google Pixel 2 features a 5 inched OLED display while the Pixel 2 XL features a 6 inched POLED display.

Google officially announced the Google Pixel 2 Price as $649 and the Google Pixel 2 XL price as $849. However both these prices are for the 64GB variants. The Google Pixel 2 price for 128GB variant is $749 while the 128GB variant of the Google Pixel 2 XL costs $949.

However, for those in India, the biggest question is - what is the Google Pixel 2 price in India. Google did say that India will be among the first set of countries to get the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL however specific pricing details were not revealed. Phones are often expensive in India than in the US because of the taxes and other duties.

The Google Pixel 2 price in India will begin from Rs. 61,000 for the 64GB variant. The 128GB variant will cost Rs. 70,000. If you go via the dollar conversion rate $649 should ideally be Rs. 42,200 and $749 should be Rs. 48,700.

Similarly, the Pixel 2 XL price in India for the 64GB variant will begin at Rs. 73,000 and the 128GB variant will come out at a price of Rs. 82,000. Direct conversion from USD would be $849 = Rs. 55,200 and $949 = Rs. 61,700.

Comparing to last year’s Pixel phones, the Pixel 2 debuted at Rs. 57,000 for the 32GB variant and Rs. 67,000 for the 128GB variant. Both, the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will be exclusive to Flipkart this year as well.
