Especially following the Nexus 6P, Huawei’s brand value increased all over. The company owns the Honor brand of devices too, and are now gearing up to launch the Honor Note 9 later this year. Reports have emerged which give us a detailed insight about the upcoming phone from Honor. Let us take a closer look:

Honor Note 9 Specifications

It is being reported that the upcoming Honor Note 9 smartphone would come out into the markets with an edge-to-edge bezel-less display. This has been a trend with most flagship smartphones this year including the LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8. While details on the screen size are yet to emerge, we expect it between 5.8 inches to 6.2 inches.

The phone will be powered by Huawei’s Kirin 965 processor. Past reports had indicated that the phone would carry the Kirin 960, but it looks like an upgrade is on its way. Along with this new processor, the phone would be aided by a 6GB RAM and a 64GB storage. The processor is yet to launch, but it is likely to be announced in a few weeks, or when the Honor Note 9 itself launches. The phone runs on a 4000mAh battery.

Another interesting detail about the Honor Note 9 indicates that the phone would feature dual cameras on the back. These dual cameras will offer a 12MP + 12MP resolution where one would click greyscale images and the other would be for RGB images, together the two would put together an image that offers the best color combinations. As of now Huawei is not expected to launch this phone at the IFA 2017, however plans could always change between then and now.
