The company has faced a stiff competition in the past one year, and is now looking forward to introduce pricing strategies which will help them combat this competition. The company has introduced the Vodafone Campus Survival Kit today to combat Jio.
Vodafone Campus Survival Kit
The Vodafone Campus Survival Kit, which is aimed primarily at students offers the users with pretty much the same features as Jio offers to them. The scheme offers 1GB of 3G/4G data, as well as unlimited voice calling to the users for 84 Days! Reliance Jio offers a similar plan, but the only difference is that their plan is priced in at Rs. 399, and that it also offers free roaming and unlimited SMS.
This scheme is only for new customers, and costs Rs. 455. Users would also get a number of discount coupons, as well as a messenger bag as a part of this Vodafone Campus Survival Kit. “The survival kit is for Rs 445, it includes discount booklet from Ola, Zomato and others, valid for 84 days, post the expiration, 352 recharge will give them same benefits,” Vodafone India Delhi circle business head Alok Verma said in an e-mailed response.
Following the initial cost of Rs. 455, all subsequent recharges would be of Rs. 352. The company is beginning this offer in the Delhi NCR region, following which they plan to expand it to other regions as well.
