2016 seems like a big year for LG’s smartphone division. The company had plans for two big launches this year. Out of these two launches, the LG G5 was released earlier in the year. While there were high hopes from the device, it crashed and burned in the markets, as LG failed to get the modular technology ‘over’. However, with their upcoming smartphone, the LG V20 being one of the most awaited devices of the year, things might soon get better for them. In a matter of hours, LG will be releasing this smartphone, with all its features and specs being officially announced.

However, before the company does it, let us do a rumor round-up, and take you through some of the expected specs and features of this smartphone from LG. The company is expected to release the LG V20 with a 5.5 inched screen. On top of the screen, is expected to be a ‘secondary screen’, which will display a number of notifications and perform various functions as programmed by the user.

The smartphone is expected to release with 3GB of RAM, along with 32 and 64 GB of storage space variants. In addition to these specs, it is expected that the LG V20 might also come out with a 4GB RAM variant later in the future, or for limited markets. The smartphone is anticipated to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, and would feature the Adreno 530 GPU.

In addition to this, the device is likely to feature dual cameras at the back, which would give the images a better depth perception. The LG V20 would also be coming with USB Type-C connectivity for enhanced connections. The company is likely to release the smartphone with a 4,000mAh battery. As of now these are the expected specs of the LG V20, and the picture will get a lot clearer in the hours to follow!
