Nokia made a grand comeback this year when they released the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 smartphones, as well as the revamped Nokia 3310. While the three smartphones have been quite intriguing, Nokia still lacks a power-player into the markets that can compete in the premium segment with the flagship phones. In order to tackle the high-end, flagship phones in the markets, Nokia is now working on the Nokia 9. The phone has just been leaked in live shots, as seen below:

These images showcase the Nokia 9 smartphone to come out with a vertical dual camera setup in the back. The cameras also come along with what appears to be a laser autofocus, and a single LED flash. The images also showcase the UI of the phone. The UI looks quite familiar to that of the Pixel launcher. The launcher also features a light blue color theme to match Nokia’s classic colors.

The phone would feature a USB Type-C connectivity, as well as a headphone jack. Moreover, details showcase that the Nokia 9 would come out with a 5.3 inched display which would offer a 1440x2560p resolution and a screen density of 557ppi. The leaked details showcase that the phone would offer to the users the latest Qualcomm processor: the Snapdragon 835 SoC.

The Nokia 9 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS, and offers 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of storage space (expandable with the help of MicroSD cards). The dual cameras of the Nokia 9 offer a 13MP resolution each. The phone does look like a phone that will take Nokia to the next level, and bring it to the grand stage, competing with other major flagship smartphones. This is the premium boost that Nokia needed.

As of now we do not know about when the phone would come out. Pricing details too, are not available but it is expected that the phone would come with a rather high price tag such as $700. Stay tuned with us for more details.
