Among some of the oldest names in the communication industry, Motorola is a name of mythical proportions. Like the mighty phoenix, Motorola once soared high in the markets, and then burnt into ashes in the wake of competition. However, this mighty phoenix did resurrect, and it bounced back into the markets really well. The company, over the past 4 years, has been a mainstay in the Android smartphone markets, and has been innovating the markets with a number of devices. The company was making news yesterday over the launch of the Moto G Play smartphone. Today, details around a new Moto M series of devices has come out. Motorola soon plans to release the Moto M and Moto M Plus smartphones.

The Moto M smartphone was spotted earlier today. Following that, reports of a Moto M Plus too, started making rounds. Both the smartphones were later spotted in a Chinese listing - TENAA. TENAA certifications have often been indicators of a device’s arrival. The Moto M and the Moto M Plus might just be the next smartphones to be revealed via TENAA listings. Let us take a look at the two devices –

The Moto M offers the users with a 4.6 inched screen, and features 3GB of RAM along with 32GB of storage space. The device is basically for those users who do not like to carry around big sized smartphones, but are still looking for a powerful device. The Moto M would be running on MediaTek’s MT6750 64-bit octa-core processor clocked in at 1.9GHz, along with the Mali-T860 GPU for graphics.

The Moto M Plus is expected to release with a 5.5 inched screen, along with a 3,000mAh battery. Most of the other specs between the two devices remain constant. The Moto M as well as the Moto M Plus are speculated to release with a 16 MP camera on the back and an 8 MP camera in the front.
